Online Scottish Divorce in Scotland – My Scottish Divorce25/01/2011I was hugely sceptical of paying the initial lump of money despite the fact I had read about the service in a national newspaper and read articles online. It almost seemed too good to be true. However, i went ahead and have been massively impressed with this very slick service. My case worker was in touch very quickly and I was able to contact her at all times of day via phone/email. It really helped speed the process up. I also made my case worker aware that I was due to be married again soon so she worked to extremely tight timescales to get my divorce settled in time. She had to overcome severe winter weather and huge postal delays meaning signed documents taking weeks to change hands. This is a marvellous service and I cannot say enough good things about it......but sincerely hope I wont be using it again!! Simple, quick and no fuss24/02/2011The whole thing was made simple and straightforward. Any questions i had were answered quickly if not immediately by email saving a lot of time, worry and of course money. What would have taken months and thousands of pounds had I gone through traditional lawyers office process took 6 weeks to complete. Being able to log in to my progress page kept me updated without having to make any phone calls or take time off work to call in. A fantastic service from start to finish, I couldn't have asked for more.Easy as 1 2 303/02/2011After practically giving up on seeking a separation let alone a divorce due to financial constraints, I was quite sceptical after reading about the online divorce easpecially as I have a young son of 4 years. I decided to give it a go and after replying yes to the majority of questions for the online questionaire, I found I was eligible for MyScottishDivorce. I had to pay half the amount straightaway, and was a little concerned that it could be money down the drain due to a very disagreeable ex-husband. I was contacted the next day via email by Tracey my solicitor who would be acting on my behalf who was based in Glasgow. She asked me a few simple questions and requested things such as birth and marriage certificates. Tracey kept me totally upto speed and contacted me on a regular basis by phone or email. My marriage certificate was written in Spanish and she arranged for this to be translated into English. My soon to be ex did unfortunately try to be difficult throughout but he was no match for Tracey & Co! I was divorced 6 weeks later :) I had paid double for a separation agreement 2 years earlier and had to halt the proceedings half way through due to costs running too high for conventional solicitors. I really cannot recommend this service any higher 5 STARS!! Thank you :)my divorce03/02/2011Well my experience with My Scottish Divorce has been excellent from start to finish, very straighforward, inexspensive, and quick it only took 53 days in total and i do have children aswell so obviously going to a solicitor myself would have been much more exspensive and would have taken alot longer so i am more than impressed with the service i have recieved and the lady who dealt with me was brilliant always kept in touch and let me know how things were going, a totally stress free experience i would definately recommend My Scottish Divorce to anyone. It was a fast efficient service and although you dont meet in person with your paralegal they are always on the end of the phone or just an e-mail away to help and guide you every step of the way. I personally would recommend them to anyone and found my paralegal both friendly and extremely helpful, she really did make a difficult process very simple. I separated from my husband 2 and a half years ago and at the time we had a separation agreement. To file for divorce through a solicitors would have still been very costly and time consuming. I found this site after searching the internet and seemed very impressed with the reviews. I can now write a review myself after my divorce was granted in 45 days from start to finish!! Could maybe have been completed quicker if my ex husband hadn't stalled slightly. The service i received was excellent. The whole divorce took 42 days and with the Christmas period within that!
